BCO North Talk & Tour: Havelock

Join the BCO North NextGen and Main Committee for an exclusive tour of Havelock, a newly retrofitted, 110,000 sq. ft Grade A office building. Explore the innovative transformation led by UBS and discover the cutting-edge design and sustainability features that set this space apart.

Through its considered design and retention of the existing concrete frame, the project has produced a whole life carbon saving of over 4,000 tonnes of CO2 compared to an equivalent new building. Additionally, Havelock is one of the first retrofit projects to achieve a NABERS 5* ‘Design for Performance’ rating and is certified BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ at design stage.

Further to its accreditations, the retrofit has optimised the building layout; centring user facilities on upper floors and adding terraces to opposing corners of each level. Shared amenities are located on the lower ground floors, featuring market-leading changing facilities, a studio/wellness space and a bike store.

The event will commence with a presentation from the project team, represented by OMI Architects, Simten Developments and Savills Building and Projects Consultancy, followed by a building tour and networking opportunities. This event is open to both main and NextGen BCO members.
