BCO Midlands & Building Brum Seminar: Beyond the Buildings: Social Value in Regeneration

As occupiers demand more from their workplace, the requirements of commercial buildings have shifted, and we now find workplaces close to homes, greenspace and places of entertainment so they provide the ultimate convenience for their occupiers. What impact does this have on the wider community and how do we ensure developments are placing a greater emphasis on long term social outcomes?

The discussion will be led by Building Brum Programme Director Conor Nolan and Howells Senior Interior Designer Francesca Ghavami-Milnes at the recently completed One Centenary Way within the Paradise development. They will be joined by special guest speakers from across the industry to explore how regeneration projects can deliver more than just architecture but can contribute to lasting social value and create meaningful change through inclusive and sustainable growth.

Speakers include:
• Shauna Bradley, Partner – Howells
• Ross Fittall, Commercial Director – MEPC
• Alison Kilby, Associate Director – Arup
