BCO London Talk & Tour: HFW

HFW, a global law firm, partnered with international architecture and interior design firm M Moser in a transformative four-year journey to redefine its workspace. M Moser guided HFW in envisioning a future that embodies the firm’s values and fosters cross-sector collaboration. The decision to relocate to the award-winning 8 Bishopsgate, a multi-tenanted facility and the UK’s tallest BREEAM Outstanding and EPC A-rated building, allowed HFW to optimise its footprint from 79,000 sq. ft to 59,000 sq. ft.

HFW recognises change in the legal industry. Its new workplace highlights the importance of connectivity between departments and an ability to cater to clients across sectors. M Moser installed a central staircase spanning all three floors. This architectural feature serves as a unifying focal point and enhances connectivity among employees. The new and shared typologies create a richer, fuller work experience and have increased attendance. The Client Suite, offering panoramic London views, elevates the client experience, showcasing a creative, future-ready workplace. The shift from 100% dedicated to 100% agile workspaces, with an average 1:0.6 desk ratio, reflects adaptability.
