What Workers Want and BCO Awards Application

The BCO and Savills addressed this question through a survey of office workers across the country which received over 1100 responses. This survey also asked what had changed since 2013 when BCO and Savills last collaborated to find out what workers wanted from their offices. We asked people if they preferred to work in town centres, business parks or rural locations, their views on wearable technology in the office and if they would use standing desks. Steve Lang, Director at Savills UK ltd, will explain the key findings of this exciting new piece of research, What Workers Want.

This event is also a great opportunity to hear more about the Awards entry process from Matt Viall, Chair of the Regional Judging Panel. The BCO Awards are widely respected within the commercial property sector. They display the strength of British office design and illustrate a combination of excellence from the clarity of purpose in the brief; ingenuity of product; clever design solutions where appropriate; and delivery on time and in budget. Winning a BCO Award provides members of the project team with a multitude of benefits, of which can be found listed below.

Refreshments will be provided, along with the chance to network with BCO members and fellow industry professionals.
