In 2010 SEGRO took back a 1980’s office building at lease expiry and after assessing various options decided to undertake a back to frame refurbishment. The advantages of this were to significantly reduce build costs, readily achieving a BREEAM rating of Excellent and an EPC rating of B and a build period of just 6 months.

The tour will include a presentation by the architects EPR and the retained sustainability consultants Chapman Bathurst, as well as the opportunity to debate whether this is the most viable way to deliver Grade A stock to the market under the current challenging market conditions.
