Building 2000 is a Foster design corporate headquarters built in 1999 to accommodate the EMEA HQ for Electronic Arts, the gaming company.  Last summer Japanese Pharma company Astellas purchased the freehold and commenced a project to create their new EMEA HQ and consolidate three locations into one.

The ensuing project was not a typical office fit out, for several reasons. Firstly the building had been sitting idle for four years so needed a major fabric overhaul and secondly it had been designed for one tenant in mind, so a radical rethink was needed to accommodate the needs of Astellas.

The end result is a stunning modern workplace, with both traditional and agile work settings.
