The Angel building originally designed by EPR has now been transformed by Derwent London and their team into a very successful refurbishment project. Benjamin Lesser, Derwent London will take us through how they achieved this re-invention; the building has recently been awarded BCO Refurbished / Recycled Workplace Award 2011.

We will also hear from our guest speaker Kamran Moazami of WSP, he will talk about the role of engineer and provide his take on recycling buildings as well as designing the new, including the Shard. Outlining some of the challenging design that often occurs when working with an older building and new alike.
