The NextGen Ideas Project is an exciting opportunity for members to present their boldest, most innovative and creative ideas for the future workspace to the BCO and the wider industry. Come and talk to us over breakfast about the competition and hear from a previous finalist about their experience of the process.

We will be joined by 2022 competition finalist Tim Newcombe from Cundall. Tim will present his winning idea for the 2022 BCO NextGen Ideas Project, which centred around energy efficiency in the workplace sector. Tim developed a concept platform to harvest all of the energy usage from a building and re-present it in a graphical format. This real-time data could then be used by the facilities management team and the end building users alike to give a thorough understanding of where energy may be wasted and how energy could be saved. Tim will also talk through his own experience of the competition process and answer any questions.
