BCO Urban Group Seminar: People, Place and Time

Professor Sadie Morgan, founding director of the Stirling Prize winning architecture practice, dRMM champions the importance of design at the highest political level. Her seminar will look at how the built environment interacts with people and place at every scale – and why, as government investment in large scale infrastructure increases over the next few decades, the design thinking that goes into these spaces will be increasingly essential.

She will draw on her experience as chair of the Independent Design Panel for High Speed Two (HS2), a Mayor’s design advocate for the Greater London Authority, commissioner for the National Infrastructure Commission and commissioner for the Thames Estuary 2050 Growth Commission.

Come and join us on 6th February at Burges Salmon, 6 New Street Square, London and participate in the thought-provoking discussion. Refreshments will be provided, along with the chance to network with BCO members and industry peers after the presentation.
