Henderson, a leading independent global asset management firm, relocated their London headquarters from 4 Broadgate to a new state of the art environment to aid in the delivery of high quality services and improve their image within the marketplace and to their clients. The 125,000 sq ft project is based within the recently completed 201 Bishopsgate development, EC2.

A contemporary office space for approximately 900 staff was designed over levels 8, 9 & 10 creating a special staff experience complete with 6 fish tanks in the breakout spaces, and a staff restaurant. The design provides a unique client experience on Level 12 with an impressive reception area incorporating a huge curved LED feature wall, seperate registration area for large functions, lounge areas and, a range of fixed meeting and dining rooms. Two large multifunctional areas are fully equipped with audio visual facilities to be used in various configurations, the boardroom area and the theatre style presentation room.

Henderson see themselves as leaders in finding new and innovative ways to run their business in an environmentally friendly manner. With an end goal of a carbon neutral environment in mind, every step along the way on the project was key in helping Henderson achieve this goal, from the selection of all materials from a sustainable source where possible, to documenting the carbon footprint of each team member, to managing and monitoring all construction waste.
