Renowned architecture practice, Farrells, has designed a flexible masterplan at RAD with adaptable architecture to sustain London’s evolving property market, creating two distinct office typologies within the first phase.

With the use of modular construction these office typologies have been brought to life, creating dockside terraced townhouses and a large-plate office building situated to the north of the site, which has been designed to facilitate multi-floor lets. Completed earlier this year, following an efficient build programme of just 98 weeks, the first phase of commercial buildings at RAD provides 700,000 sqft of lettable office space across 21 new buildings and has recently achieved a BREEAM ‘excellent’ rating. The masterplan includes up to 850 residential units and 160,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space.
