BCO Research Launch: Wearables in the Workplace

As the health and wellbeing agenda becomes increasingly central to office management and the cost of effective wearable devices continues to decrease, the links between the two are becoming clearer and, arguably, business-critical.

The BCO’s report divides the implications of this trend into four groups: technology; design; metrics and research. Wearable technology allows increased personalisation and awareness of health related issues: Design factors are likely to result in workplaces that support active working: Metrics provide insight into group behaviours and dynamics: And more research is expected on the links between the physical environment, behavioural change and organisational culture.

This event, hosted by Wedlake Bell, will see the research team share the report’s findings and they invite you to engage with them on the ethical, legal and management issues surrounding the increasing use of wearables in the workplace.
