BCO Research Launch: Virtual Reality and 3D Printing – Reducing waste in office construction through new technology

Office construction has a reputation for material wastage with associated financial and environmental consequences. This research examines the emergence of new technologies and the extent to which they can help to reduce waste in office construction.

Focusing on Virtual Reality and 3D Printing, the study reviews the existing applications of these, their ability to mitigate waste during the design and construction process and identifies opportunities and challenges for the technology in the future.

Following the presentation, you will have the chance to experience and interact with some of the new technology cited in the report’s findings.

Tea, coffee and pastries will be provided at 8am, ahead of the presentation which will commence at 8.30am.
