Steve Watts wanted to be an architect but became a QS. This is a statement rather than an apology. But there’s more to it than that, and in his talk ‘My tall story – who’d have thought?’ he will chart how he became something of an authority on tall buildings, through his career with Davis Langdon and now alinea consulting, and his rise through the ranks of the Council on Tall buildings & Urban Habitat.
