JLL 20 Water Street is a collaborative, sustainable, inclusive, health-led, tech-smart, energy-efficient, and flexible workplace. Circular deign principles minimise whole life carbon – the project had to be exemplary for JLL’s people and clients, as well as meet JLL’s energy target and UKGBC 2025 Net Zero Carbon milestone.

This destination office engages people in their workplace, bringing them together in an organisation that thrives on collaboration. Putting people and planet at its core, the design considers physical requirements, neurodiversity, age, cultural differences and sensitivity to environmental conditions – with spaces for every need, including height adjustable workstations, furniture for different body shapes/sizes, and a variety of working and social environments for neurodiverse users.

So far, the workplace has achieved SKA Gold, BREEAM Excellent, and JLL Inclusive Workplace Standard Gold, and is on track to achieve WELL Platinum certification.
