Getty Images’ new London HQ, designed by Bluebottle, was conceived as a rethink of the traditional office, and provides a variety of different work and coworking spaces to facilitate post-pandemic flexible work styles.

The project, underpinned by a detailed workplace study of Getty Images’ previous premises, implemented a move to hot-desking to free up space for alternative uses, providing a variety of opportunities for co-working, informal meetings and socialising. The space also supports key business operations with the London HQ now able to function as a global hub for the editing of major events such as the FIFA World Cup and Academy Awards.

The project makes use of feature lighting and a bold colour palette to reflect the client’s brand identity supplemented with over one hundred carefully curated prints from Getty Images’ archive.
