These buildings positioned adjacent to each other at IQ Farnborough display a prime example of how two very different projects can work to compliment one another.

SEGRO decided to renovate The Hub, a pre-War, steel-framed aeronautical weapons research building. They have succesfully created an interesting focal point for the business park which has retained the original feel of the building by restoring historical features like the roof lantern and "Farnborough" lettering in the brick cap.

In contrast the modern pair of pavilions know as 200, 250 Fowler Avenue were developed as modern, flexible offices conforming to BCO standards. Double-height entrances and a magnificent open staircase reinforce the sense of place, whilst the use of terracotta as the principal facing material with infill panels of glass and aluminium is a triumph.
