The subject of the evening seminar will compare some of the urban design conditions – living and working densities, zoning laws, infrastructural frameworks, spatial organisation, etc. – in Japan to those in the United Kingdom with a particular focus on urban areas in Tokyo. As with all Urban Group events, participation in the discussion is the key to a successful evening. 

This seminar forms part of the longstanding series of ‘think tank’ seminars which have been organised by the members of the BCO Urban Group and opinion formers in the urban regeneration sector.  Our objective is to get experts in various parts of the urban regeneration sector together to debate a number of inter-related subjects.
