Transformation of Old Buildings to Make a New Place

The building is a six-storey 258,412 sq ft remodeled and extended office building at the junction of St John and Pentonville Road EC1 and will play an important role in regenerating the area. The new design aims to provide a building better fitted to its surroundings, this has been cleverly achieved by re-using the old concrete frame, expanding the space inside and enclosing the courtyard to create a dramatic atrium. Around half of the office space has been pre-let to Cancer Research UK. High quality finishes and an efficient and economical displacement ventilation system are a feature of the building.

Speakers from the project team will explain the design and technical aspects involved in the transformation of this building combined with a walk through of the key areas and an opportunity for questions and further technical discussion from members of the BCO’s TAC.
