Scottish Tour – Clyde Gateway, Glasgow

Clyde Gateway is delivering a 20-year regeneration programme that is transforming the image, perception and fortunes of communities across a large part of the east end of Glasgow together with the ancient burgh of Rutherglen in neighbouring South Lanarkshire.

The construction of new roads, improvements to railways stations, the opening of BREEAM ‘Excellent’ offices and the creation of business and trade parks along with new sports facilities and the Athletes Village as part of Glasgow hosting the Commonwealth Games in July 2014 are all contributing to a vastly changing picture across the area.

BCO Members are being offered a unique opportunity to see these changes close-up and to hear about future investment and development plans in a specially arranged tour to be hosted by senior staff from Clyde Gateway.
