BCO North Talk & Tour: Drapers Yard

The BCO North Committee invite you to a tour of Drapers Yard, winner of the refurbished/recycled category at the Northern Regional Awards.

Overbury have recently delivered the Life Science Centre of Excellence at Drapers Yard for Fortrea; creating a gold standard clinical pharmacology investigational unit which provides a more effective environment for testing and a class leading experience for the volunteers that are tested within the space, as well as a new UK office headquarters for Fortrea.

The refurbishment has revitalised and repurposed a high-quality environment. Overbury’s work involved an extensive Cat-A & B fit-out, running in part parallel to landlord works, and consisted of the complete refurbishment of the ground and first floor, along with the creation of a roof terrace and a 100-bed clinic and pharmacy. It is a sustainable and energy efficient environment designed with occupant well-being in mind.

At the event we shall hear directly from the client and design team to understand about how the vision of this scheme became reality. The attendees will also be given the opportunity to hear from the BCO Northern judging panel on what it takes to become best in class.

The talk & tour will include networking/refreshments followed by post event drinks.
