Guest speaker – Dave Anderson

Head of Economic Development, City of Edinburgh Council

David Anderson is Director of City Development with the City of Edinburgh Council – a position he took up in March 2008. In this role he has responsibility for the planning, transport, property and economic development functions in the City of Edinburgh, including oversight of the City’s new tram system. Prior to his current post, David was Senior Director of Operations of Scottish Enterprise Edinburgh and Lothian from November 2006 and was responsible for economic development across the Edinburgh city region.

David is an Executive Board Member of Scottish Enterprise Edinburgh and Lothian and a Board Member of Waterfront Edinburgh Limited. He is also Chairman of The Keynote Trust Ltd.
