Peter Murray will trace how the capital has changed through his career from 60s London the era of Centrepoint, Siefert, The Beatles and Brutalism; the energy crisis of the 70s and the Designer decade of the 80s when he started Blueprint magazine as well as Wordsearch – the leading global design and comms agency for real estate.

He’ll discuss Prince Charles and his attacks on architects; Broadgate and Big Bang; IRA bombs and the eastern City Cluster; the rise of tall buildings, his role in starting the London Festival of Architecture and New London Architecture as well as design advisor to both Boris Johnson and Sadiq Khan. Oh, and cycling too.
