The challenges were set by the client, the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, part of the University of Cambridge, for what will be known as the Entopia Building. The challenge was to ‘Deliver a low carbon retrofit and achieve “world class” sustainability aspirations within a standard fit-out investment model’.

The project team – designers Architype / BDP, project manager 3PM, cost manager G&T and contractor ISG, will expand on the challenges set by the client and outline the solutions adopted. A follow up visit to the site is planned following completion of the works later in the year.
